Mayrhofen Easter holidays

If you’re lucky enough to spend a holiday here on a year where Easter falls early and there’s been good snowfall throughout the season, you’re in for a great time on the snow.

Mayrhofen’s highest altitude is 2,500m and with the best snow usually found over 2,000m later in the season, you should be able to find well-preserved conditions higher up if you catch the first lift. While the ski area is not known for the best late season skiing, you can still enjoy a week on the snow if you upgrade to the Zillertal Superskipass. As well as a whopping 671km of runs, this gives access to the nearby Hintertux glacier, which offers snow sure skiing even in the late season with altitudes stretching to 3,250m.

If you're quite happy with variable snow conditions we'd recommend one of our chalets or hotels at Easter for relaxed evenings, after big afternoons of après ski in the sunshine (the views from the Igloo bar at this time of year are amazing)!
