Vivid Snowboarding is a specialist snowboard school founded by Rob Norton. We aim to encourage more young people to have a go at snowboarding and begin sliding as soon as they’re on the slopes – as soon as you can walk, you can ride!
Our VIVID ONE STAR classes are an intro to sliding. We use the new riglet reel system to help guide youngsters through the basics. In VIVID TWO STAR the focus is fun – helping kids learn through games and play. We introduce new skills and techniques, and these classes are more active around the mountains. VIVID THREE STAR classes are designed for the little rippers, who’ve already had a few weeks on the slopes and want to try some tricks in the park and really conquer the mountains.
Get in touch to chat about our lessons and book a Vivid Kids session – we offer 2 hour, 3 hour and full day sessions, and can work with the days and start times that suit you.

Verbier day and evening care plus snow ski schools and babysitting.
Verbier offers good facilities for children of all ages, with the swimming pools and ice rink as well as the multitude of snow sports, and eating out options including child-friendly restaurants serving the meals children like most. Children pay for lift tickets from age 8, a little better than in most French resorts. However the Televerbier lift company have tried hard with older children and families. The children's day care at Chez les Schtroumpfs has an unfortunate 'Smurfs' theme, but the kids love it so who cares, and it takes even the very youngest tots, unlike most of the other establishments in the Alps. It opens at 8.30am week days and 9.30am on Sundays, through to 5.30pm. The ski school's ski kindergarten and kids' club takes children from age four up for half a day or full day including lunch.
