Weather and Man Made Snow in Risoul
On an annual basis, Risoul's average frozen precipitation is 150cm.
This natural weather-created snowfall is helped along with 25 snow guns or "cannons" on 35km of piste - that's over 35% of the total length of Risoul trails.
Off-piste snowboarding and sking is allowed and of course this has the secondary effect of reducing the wear and tear on snow condition on the pisted runs.
