SNO-man says

Flims Laax Falera is the name that the tourist office of the villages of Flims, Laax and Falera prefer to be collectively known by. Flims itself, the largest of the three, is made up of two centres, the larger being Flims Waldhaus which dates back to 745AD. The Tourist Office promotes these two centres as well as Laax and Falera, neighbouring villages, as one place in terms of facilities. The lifts however are at Flims Dorf (as well as Laax and Falera) and Europe's first chair lift was built here in 1945, linking the resort to Foppa. There is a huge sunny ski area between them and Laax/Falera, called the Alpenarena, which is crowned by the Vorab glacier.

"Laax" by any other name

The Swiss resort is also known as Flims Cassons Grat , La Siala, Vorab, Crap Sogn Gion and has common misspellings:

The direction which the various Laax slopes face can make or break your ski holiday. To guarantee good snow conditions, choose a resort with piste which face the right way for the time of year you're travelling.

- In the coldest winter months of January and February pick a resort with sunny south facing slopes, so your days on the snow doesn't feel like a polar expedition. Conversely, in the warmest spring skiing months of March and especially April, a resort with cool and shady north facing trails will ensure you're not riding on slush, but benefitting from best late season snow. The best destinations have areas which face in all directions so that you're guaranteed greating conditions whatever the weather. Laax has slopes facing ?.
