Weather and Man Made Snow in Gressoney

On an annual basis, Gressoney's average frozen precipitation is 200cm.

This natural weather-created snowfall is helped along with 150 snow guns or "cannons" on 6km of piste - that's over 10% of the total length of Gressoney trails.

Off-piste snowboarding and sking is allowed and of course this has the secondary effect of reducing the wear and tear on snow condition on the pisted runs.
