On the edge of Gressoney, smack bang in the middle of the Monte Rosa ski area, you'll find the Hotel Monboso. And if you're looking for authenticity, this is just the ticket. Inside, it's traditionally decorated in yellows and reds, and it's popular with Italian guests too.
When you're done on the slopes, grab a drink from the bar and head out to the sun terrace to enjoy the peace and quiet this end of town. And if the spa's calling your name, there's a sauna, steam room and hot tub to choose from. Travelling with kids? They'll love getting stuck into activities in the Monboso Kids' Club. They even do a PJ and party meal, where the kids can enjoy a supervised dinner in their pyjamas, and you'll get a couple of hours to relax.
Your meals are taken care of here, and a buffet breakfast and evening meal are served up in the restaurant every day. Afterwards, head to the piano bar to sip on your favourite tipple and listen to live music – the perfect way to end the day.
