Valmeinier ski hotel holidays
We don’t have any hotels here at the moment but if you’re desperate to stay in Valmeinier, we do have some stunning self-catered apartment accommodation available in 1800. The Residence Le Vermont complex is just 50m from the slopes and is also close to the restaurants and shops. It’s great for families as it’s a little further up from the centre of the resort, so a bit quieter in the evenings. If, however, you relish being in the centre of the action, the Residence Les Lodges de Pierres Valmeinier is slap bang in the centre of the village, so it’s not far to stumble home after your après-ski drinks.
If you like the area, we have the lovely half-board Hotel Patchwork in Valloire, which Valmeinier shares its ski area with. It’s just a 2 minute walk from the nearest ski lift, so great for families with little ones who might not manage a long walk with ski equipment. Click here if you want to have a read of our Valloire resort page, to see if it’s right for you.
Hotels are an incredibly popular choice for people booking ski holidays, as they offer more flexibility where catering options are concerned. Full-board hotels mean that food and meals are sorted before packing has begun, and half-board allows for the sampling of lunch across a variety of mountain huts. Bed and Breakfast options are best suited to those who are keen for first lifts and minimal breakfast prep, whilst leaving them free to explore the restaurants in the resort by night.
Hotels are available as part of a package including flights and accommodation for a smooth journey from your front door to your hotel room door, with channel crossings if you want to admire the French countryside from your car, or alone as accommodation only if you’re undecided on travel.
