Ski Hotels in Sweden

Just like the nation’s ski resorts, Swedish ski hotels seem to have thought of everything. You’ll find a range of ratings - from high end lodges to humbler properties - with locations right on top of mountains, slap bang in resort centres and on scenic lakesides.

Different hotels have different offerings, but our favourites in Sweden have a mix of facilities from spas and swimming pools to bowling alleys, kids clubs and games rooms. Restaurants and bars keep guests well fed and watered, with a mix of local nosh and world-wide classics.

Luxury Ski Hotels in Sweden

If you thought Sweden’s super snow and slick lift systems were top drawer, you should see its 4 and 5 star hotels. Many minimise hassle with ski-out locations, and tempt you in from the slopes with the likes of wellness centres and luxury lounges. Swim in indoor pools, outdoor pools, infinity pools, adventure pools… And relax in hot tubs, saunas and panoramic yoga studios. Hotel restaurants are dedicated to using local, seasonal produce in the most creative ways, while rooms with balconies and suites make marvellous upgrades when it comes to bedtime.

Sweden Ski hotel food & drink

Most of our Sweden ski packages come as B&B and half board, letting you pick the meal plan that best suits you. B&B gives you more flexibility with where and when you dine for lunch and supper, still setting you up for the day with hearty buffet or a la carte breakfasts. Half board meanwhile sorts out breakfasts AND suppers, freeing you from having to choose or budget for where you eat in the evenings.

With bars and restaurants on-site, you can be well fed and watered without having to stray too far from your room – which after a day on skis could be just what the doctor ordered. The best hotels support local farmers by serving seasonal Swedish produce, whipped into comfort food, haute cuisine and everything in between. Restaurants range from formal dining tooms to casual pub-style eateries, with menus offering traditional Swedish cuisine (like grilled reindeer and good old fashioned meatballs) besides international favourites – burgers, pizzas, you name it.
