Overview - hotel description - Westin Resort & Spa description

The Westin Resort & Spa is arguably the best hotel in Whistler, when you take into account the amazing location and quality of the hotel. It's also being renovated for W1819, so you can look forward to brand new décor and furnishings in all the rooms. Located at the base of Whistler, you’re next to the gondolas for both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, and literally a few paces away from the main village.

For families, there's an indoor/outdoor pool where they can swim while you relax in the hot tub. And if the slopes haven't tired you out enough, there's an incredible fitness room to get your blood pumping - and don't worry if you've forgotten your gym gear, you can hire it all from the hotel for a small charge. The hotel also has the Avello Spa and Health Club, with over 75 treatments including facials, body wraps and hot rock massages.

Plus the restaurant, the Grill & Vine, serves excellent food made from locally sourced, fresh ingredients and the breakfast buffet is known as being one of the best in Whistler with a plethora of foods from pastries and breads to fruits and meats and even a made-to-order omelette station. If you're in a bit of a rush, you could opt for a bite to eat at the Starbucks grab & go café, and in the evenings, you could test out your chopstick skills at the Kaze Sushi Restaurant. For an after dinner drink, relax in the Firerock Lounge.

The hotel also houses a parade of shops, from art galleries to Helly Hansen. What’s more, our customers get free WiFi and ski concierge who will pick your skis up at the base of the mountain at the end of the day.

Established in 1966 the Canadian ski resort Whistler lies at 675 metres altitude in the British Columbia region of the Canadian Coast Range. With its pedestrianised streets, size and attractive architecture, the village at the base of the mountain matches perfectly to the world’s largest ski area. Its diversity, buzzing vibe and class can be immediately sensed upon setting foot in the area. Whilst originally giving the feel of intense and sole focus on the mountain, the myriad of bars, shops and restaurant...
There is literally no best way to start describing a ski area that spans two mountains and is larger than a colossal 8,000 acres. If you think you can’t find the right terrain for you here, you’re just too picky. Setting out on skis in this resort is an absolute dream; the Ski School is fantastic, catering to the customer’s every need. The Magic Chair is perfect for your first venture up the mountain after the carpet, or for the more confident novices, hit up Whiskey Jack, then Olympic for a long run back t...

The Meadow Park Sports Centre has a six lane pool and attached fun pool as well as sauna, steam room and hot tub. There's also an integral indoor ice rink, squash courts and a fitness centre. There are also several indoor tennis courts around the resort and an indoor climbing gym opened in December 2006. Whistler has hair and beauty salons, a museum, public library, laundry and dry cleaning services, cinema and v...
