This package holiday to Valdez Suite in Morzine, France departs Sunday 26th March 2017, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

While the charming alpine atmosphere will make you feel like you've stepped into a traditional winter wonderland, you'll find that Morzine is a contemporary resort with all mod-cons. The huge range of shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs and off-slope activities pretty much have everything for everyone and contribute to the friendly, buzzing village life. There's more to do on and off the slope than you can shake a ski pole at, including loads of activities for non-skiers, and après ski is lively and varied. Highl...

All abilities are catered for well and to top it off, you can heli-ski, speed ride and go night skiing on the Pleney. With excellent ski schools and conveniently located nursery slopes, Morzine is popular for novices. You'll find lots of gentle greens and easy blues for snowploughing including Gernes and Proclo. Because it's a great resort for those with children in tow, the high quality of après ski in Morzine is often overlooked. You'll find a lively, friendly atmosphere after hours with a good range of venues to suit everyone (and with fantastic childcare services on offer, even parents can sample the nightlife). "Sun, snow and superb childcare"

Perfect chalet for family of 2 adults and 2 small children. Annabel was a great chalet host, very accommodating, helpful and lovely with the children. The chalet is in an excellent location and we were not affected by noise from the bigger chalet next door or the road outside. Food was good, would probably have liked some lighter options and smaller portions. We have to say the Ally, the nanny brought in from Val D'isere for the week to look after the children was superb. We have never felt so comfortable leaving the children with someone we don't know. Ally was fun, kind, calm and sensible. The children loved her and she made our holiday totally stress free just knowing that the children were well cared for. Ally is a true Mary Poppins, fabulous and far surpasses any other holiday nanny we have come across. 10/10, 100%, 5 star for Ally! Only wish we could have brought her home!

"How we enjoyed our holiday!"
