Overview: chalet description: Tire Bouchon description

Pretty as a picture. the cute and well appointed Tire bouchon is the perfect family ski chalet

Tire Bouchon is a gorgeous family chalet that sits at the end of a beautiful snowy track just off the Route de la Marlene, this chalet has plenty of room for a couple of families to share.

There are a total of five bedrooms in this luxury chalet in Verbier and it is elegantly furnished throughout. Perfect for families, the chalet has a lovely little TV snug behind the living area and an adorable bunk room, sleeping two children.

Situated above the Savoleyres lift station, the chalet occupies an elevated position which means you have really breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains and across to Bruson. The chic living room and elegant dining room are perfect for entertaining.

You enter the chalet on the ground floor where there are three bedrooms and a laundry room. There are two en-suite double bedrooms and the en-suite bunk bedroom. Upstairs on the first floor is a spacious well-equipped kitchen, open plan with the living and dining room. The chic living room and elegant dining room are perfect for entertaining, with the focus being a beautiful stone fire place. There are lovely alpine influences in the furniture and art but the overall feeling is calm and comforting.

Please note: Over the New Year period Tire Bouchon is available from December 26th 2023 for a minimum of a 7-night stay

Large glass doors open out onto the spacious terrace, perfect for a morning coffee in the fresh air. You can’t help but feel at peace up here above the village of Verbier.

Two double bedrooms are located on the top floor. The master has an en-suite bathroom and access to the balcony. You can snuggle up and take in the views from bed. The other double bedroom on this floor also has an en-suite bathroom and balcony access.

We really love the fresh take this chalet has on traditional mountain style and we think it’s just the perfect place to enjoy time together with your family.

The chalet is accessed along a snowy road and a 4x4 vehicle is advised. The chalet has 3 indoor parking spaces in the private garage.

The chalet is available on a self catered basis.

This accommodation only holiday to Tire Bouchon in Verbier, Switzerland departs Sunday 21st April 2024, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
