The Lakeshore Lodge & Spa is your front row seat to one of the most beautiful lakes in North America, Lake Tahoe.
Situated right on the waterfront within walking distance to the lively hubbub of South Lake Tahoe, the Lakeshore Lodge & Spa is the perfect base to explore the Heavenly mountains. It’s a short bus ride away from the gondola, as well as the Stateline casino downtown area – great for a taste of the Nevada nightlife.
The property offers both hotel rooms and condominiums, all with views across the lake and mountains. The lodge rooms are kitted out with classic pine-log furniture and décor, creating a warm, rustic feel, while the condos – which are privately owned – differ in style and furnishings.
When you’re not up on the hill, you can chill in the outdoor hot tub, or head out onto the frozen beach and build your own snowman, right on top of the hidden sand. When the cold gets too much, head inside to the Elements Spa for a bit of pampering – the spa specialises in treatments like Swedish massages, stone therapy and Reiki.
Each morning you’ll be treated to a simple continental breakfast – Danish pastries and fruit are big features on the menu – while, for dinner, you’ll have the chance to check out the many restaurants in the South Lake Tahoe area. If you fancy a beer, then head to one of the many breweries and craft-beer venues around town – you won’t want to miss them.
