Ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet, the cabins are still within walking distance of Ruka centre, with all the shops, bars and restaurants on offer. The uphill walk will certainly warm you up in the mornings and, at the end of the day, you could try sledging back down. The ski lifts and ski bus stop are also close by. Plus, if you fancy trying cross-country skiing, the trails start right outside the door.
The cabins are furnished to a high standard and the full kitchens are well equipped with modern appliances, so you can avoid paying for meals out every night – though of course it’s nice to treat yourself too.
After a day spent in sub zero temperatures on the slopes or enjoying any of the unmissable winter activities, you’ll appreciate the chance to warm up in your private sauna. After that, you can relax in the spacious living area in front of the roaring log fire, ready for another full-on day tomorrow.
Check-in time is at 4pm. However, if your transfer arrives before check-in time, you will be dropped off in Ruka's village centre. From here, you will need to take the free ski bus to your cabin for the designated check-in time. Check-out is at 12pm.
