Residence Mendi Alde sits in front of the ski lift in Le Bossonnet, a the small village of La Clusaz. The residence is only a casual 5-minute walk away from the historical centre, where you’ll find shops an array of shops and restaurants including Pizz’Avalanche, Restaurant La Calèche and La Grolle. You don’t have to make your way into La Clusaz each morning for access to the slopes, though. The Bossonnet lift a short way away, via a walkway, and gives you access to a handful of blue runs as well as other lifts that’ll transport you up to the L’Aiguille peak. The beginner area in Bossonnet too. At the end of the day, cruise down the Le Var green run or take the Le Plain blue run through the trees.

Overview: apartment description: Residence Mendi Alde description

Treat yourself this winter with a stay at the gorgeous Residence Mendi Alde, a truly luxurious mountain retreat.

Spread over five interconnected buildings, it’s been designed in traditional Savoyard style to look like a mountain chalet – so look forward to lots of cosy touches and natural materials that blend into the surrounding scenery.

There’s a great choice of spacious apartments, sleeping from 2 to 6 people, and each of them has a kitchenette, modern bathroom and comfy living room.

Elsewhere in the complex, there are plenty of facilities to keep you busy. Adults can work off excess energy in the fitness room, whilst the kids run riot in the play area. For a small charge, you can also unwind in the Deep Nature Spa, with indoor aquatic course, hammam and sauna.

And the best bit? The Mendi Alde is just 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of La Clusaz and is directly linked to the Bossonnet lift via a footbridge.

We’ve also got hotel rooms available in the Hotel Le Chamois, which is part of the same complex and has access to all of the same facilities.

Please note:

A tourist tax is payable locally. This will be approximately €1.50 per person per night.
