Location - where is Residence les Sentiers du Tueda

Located in Meribel’s highest village – Mottaret - Residence Les Sentiers du Tueda sits at the foot of the slopes, just 200m from the main lifts. Literally translating to ‘the pathways to Tueda’ the residence commands views over the frozen lake Tueda and Meribel Centre.

Whilst Meribel Centre draws the crowds for its après ski, skiers and snowboarders are wise to pick Mottaret over the centre for quicker and easier access in to the 3 valleys.

This package holiday to Residence les Sentiers du Tueda in Meribel & Mottaret, France departs Saturday 1st April 2017, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Les Allues (usually known just as Meribel). A trad alpine village with choc-box chalets, this i...
With three beginner areas known as ‘Zen Zones' plus some good greens to practice on including Le Foret, Altiport and the Cool Moon area (carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings), Meribel's one of the best ski resorts to learn in. If you're skiing with little ones there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees. Moon Wild is a special area where children can learn about local wildlife as they enjoy the s...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes will be as varied as the days spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It’s said that you haven't experienced après ski here until you've sampled toffee vodka... We say the only real “must do” is Le Rond Point, which is perhaps the most famous après ski bar in the world. Meribel is rightly famous for its night life with a variety of pubs, bars and clu...

"Totally fine"

Our apartment was totally fine, the kitchen equipment was really good which was a nice surprise -we weren’t expecting a dishwasher but it was definitely good to have one! It was also really clean. The sleeping arrangements were fine, we were a group of 3, with a couple in the bedroom and one on the floor, everyone was happy. When it came to cooking for the week, there was a shop directly downstairs which was a godsend. We could also get to the slopes in a minute so the location was great for both shopping and skiing.
