There’s a fresh face in Flaine for Winter 2023 and the name is Residence Alhéna. Partnered with the adjoining Hotel Alhéna, it’s the new place to be for groups after spacious apartments with balconies, fully equipped kitchens, and a decent dash of modern alpine style.

You’ve got all sorts here for a relaxing stay. Go for lazy lengths in the heated pool, switch hot tub for Himalayan salt wall in the spa – or if listening to live jazz with a glass of vino and some nibbles is more your style, then settle in for a chilled evening at M’Bar.

There’s also a bakery delivery service available, so put your orders in to add fresh bread and pastries to your self-catering breakfasts. Once you’ve fuelled up for the day and are ready to hit the slopes, step outside onto the bottom of the Épicea run and away you go.
