Résidence Montana Valbel Summary

With a winning location and not long renovated, the Montana Valbel apartments are just what you’d want from a cozy slopeside stay. Facing directly onto Val Thorens’ beginner area with the Cascades chairlift just a short ski across the piste, the mountain is on your doorstep here – no matter what ski level you’re at. And with a bakery right next door, you can add picking up a flaky croissant to your morning routine.

The apartments themselves have a clean, modern look, with neutral grey tones contrasting with pops of colour here and there. Each has a kitchenette with all the bits and bobs you need to self-cater, plus a casual living space with a dining area, TV and comfy furnishings. It’s perfect for families and small groups wanting a chilled-out atmosphere to kick back and relax in at the end of each ski day.

The residence also has a boot room with individual lockers – so you can stash your gear away safely and warm your boots up on the heated rack, ready and waiting for the next day’s adventures.

For an extra charge, you can add ready-to-heat meals to your booking, which are handmade locally and delivered to your accommodation by our partner, Huski. You can pick from a welcome pack, 3-evening or 6-evening meals that are easy to heat up. Find out more on the meal delivery service page.

Another place to party is Bar 360 at the end of the blue Moraine run, which always has live music and cheaper drinks. Back in town, Rue de Gebroulaz is a hub of lively bars where O'Connells is the local Irish pub. The Frog and Roastbeef is a long-time favourite of Brits. L'Eclipse on Galerie Caro...
