· 10 minutes’ walk to the centre of Mayrhofen · 5 minutes’ walk to the Ahornbahn gondola · 8 minutes’ walk to the Penkenbahn gondola · 8 minutes’ walk to the ski bus stop
Tucked away from the action of Mayrhofen's lively après scene, the Kumbichlhof is your classic Austrian stay. You're still just a short walk from the resort centre, so you can dip in and out of the nightlife as you please. And the Ahornbahn gondola is right around the corner, so you can hit the piste pronto.
The hotel itself is just how you’d picture an alpine stay, with its rustic, traditional style and wraparound timber balconies. While the setup is simple, it's the little touches that make your stay special – like the fresh-from-the-farm produce at breakfast each morning.
There’s also a ski room with heated racks, so you’ll be putting on toasty warm boots each morning. And that pretty much wraps up things on the facilities front. In a nutshell, this is a place for folks who plan to be out and about rather than relaxing back at base.
Please note: There are no lifts at this hotel.
