Overview: chalet description: No. 6 Bellevarde description

Looking to ski in Val d'Isere, then No. 6 Bellevarde may be the perfect chalet for you. No. 6 Bellevarde is an imposing stone-and-timber chalet in our piste-side Hameau de Bellevarde collection. Situated on the edge of the Santons piste it means you really can click in and out of your bindings a few steps up from the ski room door. There's also a shuttle service which operates in the morning and the afternoon to whisk you to and from the piste.

We used genuine old timbers from a local dismantled farmhouse, Italian marble in the bathrooms and some rather lovely parquet on the floor. The vaulted sitting room has an open fireplace, floor to ceiling glass and abundant plump and inviting sofas from which to enjoy the breath-taking view.

There are six en suite bedrooms on the first and second floor making this a perfect choice for a group of family or friends. Chablis has a combination of Twin and Double bedrooms, all with en suite bath, hand basin and WC. Four of the rooms also have a balcony.

Your dedicated chalet hosts will be on hand to ensure you have all the information you need and will serve breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner with wine on 6 evenings. After a hard day on the slopes, the terrace hot tub is the perfect venue for beer and bubbles or head next door and relax in our pool and spa complex.

For guests staying in our Bellevarde Lodge chalets we recommend the ski hire service from Mattis. Their shop is located in the centre of Val d'Isere so once you are settled and have sampled the afternoon tea that awaits you on arrival a member of the Ski team will take you to the shop. At the end of the week your equipment will be collected from the ski room in the chalet, so no need to carry it back to the shop. We are confident you'll get the very best of service from the Mattis team.

This package holiday to No. 6 Bellevarde in Val d'Isere, France departs Sunday 21st April 2024, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
