Overview: chalet description: No. 5 Bellevarde description

* Outdoor Hot Tub * Access To Spa Complex * Piste-side Location *
This is a traditional stone-and-timber chalet in a perfect location offering ski in ski out convenience, and also just a short walk from the resort centre.

No. 5 Bellevarde ticks all the boxes for those looking to ski in Val d'Isere. This fantastic chalet is situated on the edge of the Santons piste. Yes, this means you really can click in and out of your bindings a few steps up from the ski room door. There's also a shuttle service which operates in the morning and the afternoon to whisk you to and from the piste.

The vaulted sitting room has an open fireplace, floor to ceiling glass and abundant plump and inviting sofas from which to enjoy the breath-taking view.

Your dedicated chalets hosts will prepare breakfast, homemade afternoon tea and dish up a 3 course dinner, followed by cheese and coffee and of course accompanied with plenty of red or white wine.

After a hard day on the slopes, the terrace hot tub is the perfect venue for beer and bubbles. All guests staying in the chalet will also have access to our indoor swimming pool and spa complex next to the chalet.

There's a choice of Twin and Double bedrooms, all with en suite bath, hand basin and WC. The four bedrooms on the Second floor also have a balcony.

For guests staying in our Bellevarde chalets we recommend the ski hire service from Mattis. Their shop is located in the centre of Val d'Isere so once you are settled and have sampled the afternoon tea that awaits you on arrival a member of the Ski team will take you to the shop. At the end of the week your equipment will be collected from the ski room in the chalet, so no need to carry it back to the shop. We are confident you'll get the very best of service from the Mattis team.

This package holiday to No. 5 Bellevarde in Val d'Isere, France departs Sunday 20th April 2025, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
