Tucked in between the chapel and the church in the very historic centre of Val d'Isère, 100m from the Tourist Office and High Street and only 100m from the edge of the piste. For guests staying in Aspen House ski hire is provided by Mattis which is just 200m from the property.
Brand NEW for the 2019/20 season. Aspen Lodge had been our home in Val d'Isère for 20 years but it was time for a move. We've listened to guest feedback, scratched our heads, spent five years planning, and at last, upped and moved a few hundred yards across town.
Whilst the building is brand new, each of the apartments are sumptuously designed creating a timeless aura with classic furnishings and a rich decor. With suites sleeping from 4 to 10 guests each will provide a sensational home for a week's skiing.
Two bedroom catered chalet-apartments are hard to come by in Val d'Isère, one with additional bunk beds even more so. No.2 Aspen House provides unique accommodation for 4-6 guests, a delightful space for a small group of friends or a family. The open plan living / dining area with cutting-edge dancing fire and balcony provides ample space for four or six to relax after a day's skiing.
There are two en suite bedrooms, one with additional bunk beds (children occupying bunks pay half price). The décor throughout is elegant and stylish and we have thrown in a few toys as well, with wall mounted TVs in the bedrooms and some decent sounds in the living room. Aspen House has a spa on the ground floor with hammam, sauna and a rather grand tiled jacuzzi, more Turkish bath than hot tub.
Our build started in 2017 and the wrapper finally comes off this autumn. The images you can see are all CGI but our animation boys know exactly how we build and how we furnish, everything is to scale from the architect plans. Real interior images to follow as soon as we can early next season, but don't wait, the chalets will be sold out long before then.

Our Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. The new and refined menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

Ski never-ending pistes and powder, ogle at colossal peaks and cosy Savoie architecture, then end the day with some of the world's most wild and wonderful après ski. Val d'Isere is considered by many to be the best ski resort on earth, and we’re inclined to agree.
