The Mount Royal Hotel – with a history spanning more than a century – definitely has one of the best locations of any hotel in Banff. Right in the heart of town and with a ski shuttle bus stop right outside, it offers convenient access to Banff and its stunning surroundings.

From antique windows to winding hallways, this hotel really has a story to tell. The rooms are all furnished to a high standard, with modern touches and bright pops of colour, and there’s a choice of standard and premium rooms to suit any budget.

In all corners of the property you'll find something special. From the library to the rooftop lounge with outdoor hot tubs there's always something to keep you occupied when you're not on the slopes. When it comes to food, dinner in the excellent Brazen restaurant is a must. There's a menu of Canadian faves, from steaks to ribs, and you can't miss trying one of their signature cocktails to round off the meal.
