  • A choice of red and white wine is served throughout dinner
We update Montana Lodge's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

While the charming alpine atmosphere will make you feel like you've stepped into a traditional winter wonderland, you'll find that Morzine is a contemporary resort with all mod-cons. The huge range of shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs and off-slope activities pretty much have everything for everyone and contribute to the friendly, buzzing village life. There's more to do on and off the slope than you can shake a ski pole at, including loads of activities for non-skiers, and après ski is lively and varied. Highl...

All abilities are catered for well and to top it off, you can heli-ski, speed ride and go night skiing on the Pleney. With excellent ski schools and conveniently located nursery slopes, Morzine is popular for novices. You'll find lots of gentle greens and easy blues for snowploughing including Gernes and Proclo. Beginner boarders are in expert hands too: Mint Snowboarding is a top school specialising in snowb...
Because it's a great resort for those with children in tow, the high quality of après ski in Morzine is often overlooked. You'll find a lively, friendly atmosphere after hours with a good range of venues to suit everyone (and with fantastic childcare services on offer, even parents can sample the nightlife). In terms of places to drink in Morzine, Le Robinson is a popular vintage bar offering a relaxed atmosphere. Crowds tend to gather at the foot of the slopes to party in Le Tremplin while local beers and cock...

"Special Family Holiday"

Jane

We have all just enjoyed a fabulous week at Montana Lodge in Morzine mainly thanks to Katy and Lee who provided really superb service throughout the week. The food and drink on the platinum service were excellent, but the attitude of Katy and Lee deserves special mention. Nothing was ever too much trouble even when disturbing them in the middle of complicated cooking dishes and busy times, they always came up trumps whether it was for crushed ice or something for the baby. The Chalet was perfect for a family, but admit I would not wanted to have shared it with strangers as the sitting area was all very condensed and it would have been hard to get away from anybody except in the bedroom. Obviously you can do nothing about noise, but we did find sleeping quite difficult even with earplugs with regard to noise in the street. One other comment only to help you is that I think the pillows could be slightly better quality, this might help the sleep factor too! Otherwise I can honestly say in 60 years it is certainly the best chalet holiday and service, from all your staff, that we have ever had. Many thanks to you all.

We had a fabulous holiday. The accommodation surpassed expectations (I think photographs rarely do a property justice!). The chalet was warm and immaculately clean. Bed linen and towels looked brand new. The menu was delightful, varied and beautifully presented. The champagne and canapés on arrival certainly set the tone! We were absolutely delighted with all aspects of our holiday

We really enjoyed Morzine. The Resort had a good mix of bars, restaurants and shops. The ski slopes were in excellent condition considering the snow conditions, with lots of variety to accommodate all abilities. The Chalet was excellent and we were looked after very well by the lovely Katey. Montana Lodge is in a good location and has lovely views over the Mountains. It might be a bit snug with 6 adults but it was comfortable other than the bench at the table which was a bit rickety.
