Overview - apartment description - Les Terrasses d'Helios description

A few years ago, Flaine welcomed in the fabulous 5-star Terrasses d’Helios, a member of the Pierre and Vacances Premium collection. The apartments offer not only incredible views of the Grand Massif mountain range but a prime location on the slopes with ski-in, ski-out access to a chairlift that provides guests with direct access to the whole ski area.

The high-quality apartments are spacious and contemporary, with soft, modern furniture and bright colours that perfectly complement the pale wood décor. And if you’re a bit of a coffee lover, you’ll love the Nespresso coffee machine in every apartment.

The luxury continues in the wellness area where you can immerse yourself into the warming waters of the indoor pool, relax your ski legs in the sauna and hammam, or enjoy some bubbles in the whirlpool. The Deep Nature Spa also offers treatments if you’re feeling that extra bit indulgent.

When it comes to food, you’ll find an on-site mini-market to help you stock up for your stay, but if you don’t feel like cooking, the fabulous and elegant La Table d’Helios Restaurant offers modern and refined dining that includes local specialities as well as French and Italian cuisine. For a quick coffee or snack, the Helios Café is the perfect stop.

Part of the Grand Massif and fondly known as the “big snowy bowl”, Flaine was purposely plonked on the mountain for direct access to some of the greatest terrain around. While the village may not be brimming with Gallic charm, the skiing and facilities more than make up for it, a place much loved by powder hounds and families alike.

Flaine’s known as a “fly in, ski in/ski out” resort, and the ease of skiing that families and keen skiers rave about here’s no accident – legendary architect Marcel Lajos Breuer designed it to be as ski friendly as possible and he did a jolly good job. A ski lift or piste is never far away and the town itself is completely traffic free, with cars only allowed to enter to drop off and pick up luggage. Whilst it won’t be winning the gong for chocolate box charm, Breuer’s work has seen Flaine classed as ‘...

This is a popular place to learn to ski or snowboard and even has free beginners lifts for those who are finding their feet. The schools all have English speaking instructors who can guide you through the basics and have you gliding down the slopes in no time. Once you’re comfor...
The excellent skiing in the resort is matched by fun après ski and there’s something to suit everyone - from a family night out to an all-night party thanks to a range of places to eat, drink and dance. If you’re staying in Flaine Forum you’ll enjoy all the restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. The après is a short bus ride from Flaine Foret which is considered the slightly more residential part of Flaine. You can get a ski lift or shuttle bus into the town for après so you won’t be missing out. ...
