Based in La Rosière 1850, Chalet Les Grandes Alpes boasts a fantastic location, just opposite the lift pass office and central pistes. A ski-in, ski-out property with a stunning view over Les Arcs and based right next to the Jardin d'enfants Evolution 2, Les Grandes Alpes is particularly loved by families. Its fantastic location means that families can get out to the slopes each morning with minimal fuss.

Chalet Grandes Alpes is a wonderful, cosy and welcoming chalet complete with a fabulous south-facing view over Les Arcs. The open-plan lounge and dining area provides the perfect set up for relaxing and unwinding after a day on the slopes. With its warm atmosphere and traditional chalet style, guests can relax by the fire and enjoy fantastic meals prepared and cooked by your hosts, in the chalet’s very own, semi-professional kitchen. There is also a sauna in the chalet, allowing for guests to relax and unwind after an energetic day on the slopes.

There are two floors in this chalet. The upper floor features the open-plan lounge and dining area, the kitchen and a family suite for 4 guests, complete with an ensuite bathroom. There is also a separate double room with an ensuite shower room.
On the lower floor, you’ll find two twins and two double bedrooms. One double and one twin room feature ensuite bathrooms, while the other twin and double room share a bathroom.

MEALS AT Les Grandes Alpes, La Rosiere

Appetising Canapés & Apéritifs

On arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapés and apéritifs will be served to you in the lounge while your experienced chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.

Delicious Cooked Breakfasts

Start your day with a delicious cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, Heinz beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yogurts and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am.

Homemade Cakes & Afternoon Tea

Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.

Hearty Three Course Dinner

Home cooked evening meal served at 8pm with unlimited carefully selected red, white or rosé wine (6 days), with an additional 4th course of local cheese board with port on the Thursday evening. After dinner, fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea is served in the lounge.

Dietary Requirements

We strive to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best we can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Our team can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Our chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.

Children's Food

Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.

The Festive Season

An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. We provide Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.
