Location - where is La Rivière Apartments

The Rivière Apartments are made up of two buildings, both offering views of the Mont Blanc. They’re both a short walk to the ski bus stop, and for all your self-catering needs, there’s a supermarket just across the road. Close by you’ll also find a range of cafés and restaurants including Monkey, Paradiso Pizza and Café Bluebird Chamonix – perfect for a fuss-free meal at the end of the day. Beginners have a quick journey to the nursery slopes of Les Planards, which are only 6 minutes’ bus ride away. More confident skiers don’t have far to walk either. The Aiguille du Midi cable car is only 5 minutes down the road and is your gateway to the mountains, and the world-famous Vallée Blanche run.

The Rivière Apartments have a convenient location in Chamonix Sud. The main promenade – and its selection of boutique shops, restaurants and local entertainment – is in each reach, as well as the ski bus stop, only metres away from the apartments buildings.

Two buildings, decked out with traditional wooden facades, house a range of comfortable and well-equipped apartments. The 4-person apartments can be found in the La Riviere building, while all others are based in Les Aiglons.

The functional apartments themselves are spacious, with simple wooden furnishings (what else do you expect from the French Alps?), comfy sofas and kitchenettes where you can whip up tasty meals morning and night.

Room Types - bathrooms beds & sleeping

All have kitchenette with hot plates, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher and electric coffee machine, a balcony (not in Type C studios) and a bathroom with bath or shower and WC. Bed linen, towels, cleaning kit, end of stay clean (excluding kitchen) and local taxes included. Infant/Baby extras are available at a supplement on request.

Type C studio - sleeps 1-4: Bunk beds in alcove and double sofa bed.

Type C Apartment - sleeps 2-4: Double bedroom and sofa bed in living area.

Type D apartment - sleeps 1-5: Double bedroom, sofa bed and chair bed in living area. Some apartments are duplex.

Type F apartment - sleeps 1-7: One double bedroom, one bedroom with bunk beds, sofa bed and chair bed in living area.

Type C apartments are located in La Rivière building and Type D and F are in Les Aiglons building.

This package holiday to La Rivière Apartments in Chamonix, France departs Saturday 9th January 2021, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged.
