At the entrance of Adelboden, surrounded by wonderful nature, mountains, fields and meadows, you’ll find the piece of jewellery at the “Engstlig creek”. Apart from the street and still close from attractive and popular destinations for excursions, skiing and hiking and only two kilometres from the village away. The cosy farmhouse, built in 1811 with its low wooden living rooms, chimney and lovingly ancient furniture offers room to accommodate six people. The 4-room house is surrounded by a large garden with fountain and has as well a large heyburn. The premises as well the garden are very kids friendly equipped with a lot of toys for young and old. The living room equipped with fire place, rocking chair and wooden table, as well many card- and board games. The kitchen is spacious and practical with a wooden and electric cooker, fridge, small freezer, oven; fondue- raclette set, filter coffee, coffee machine as well a large dining table. There are three sleeping rooms; one on the ground floor with a double bed. On the upper level there is another one with a bunk bed and baby bed and another one in the front part with a double bed. Shower/Toilet are situated on the ground floor between kitchen and sleeping room. Pets are welcome. The house is not directly accessible by car. From the garage is a steep road down to the house, about 5 minutes walk. At the end of a valley in the beautiful Bernese Alps, the traditional village of Adelboden is built in classic chalet style (lots of timber, shuttered windows and wrap-around balconies). The ski area is split into different sectors, with some brilliant nursery slopes on the outskirts of the village for first timers. TschentenAlp has the closest slopes to the village, linked by cable car and providing incredible views back over Adelboden. Time out Pub is one of the main après spots here, with a terrace that spills out onto the village square and screens for live sports.
