The Sonnblick is a superb family-run hotel offering a magnificent range of facilities. The modern and cosy superior rooms and suites are all finished to a high standard. The village centre, ski lifts and slopes are approximately 3-5 minutes' walk and the ski bus for the glacier and Zell am See stops virtually outside.

Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.

Located in Salzburg, Kaprun is perhaps best known for being the home of the magnificent Kitzsteinhorn glacier and was the first Austrian resort to partake in glacier skiing way back in the 60’s. Kaprun’s pistes are split fairly evenly in terms of ability level, with the majority being classed as suitable for intermediate skiers.
