Lizum 1600 is a brand new and modern hotel with an unbeatable location for keen skiers. Located right on the slopes of Axamer Lizum, this place has everything you need for a perfect ski holiday.
The Hotel Lizum 1600, opened in 2013/14, is a ski and snowboard centre of excellence. Step out of the heated boot room and you are directly on the mountain. And you can ride straight down to the Schönboden lift along a red run for easy access to the whole ski area - or it's about 100 metres on foot if you're still learning the basics to the ski school.
With its on-mountain position, your evenings will most likely be spent around the hotel. The rooms are modern and comfy and have great views of the surrounding peaks, plus there's the popular Weisses Rausch après ski bar for enjoying a few drinks after hitting the slopes.
If the mountains haven't tired you out - you can work off your energy in the fitness room or try out the climbing wall for a different mountain challenge. If you prefer a bit of peace and quiet at the end of the day then there's also a small, but perfectly formed spa area with sauna and steam room for helping you to recharge your batteries.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
