· skiing virtually to and from your doorstep · fantastic central location in Méribel · 1-minute walk to ski school meeting point and nursery slopes
In the centre of Méribel is the gorgeous, and completely renovated, Hotel Le Tremplin. Each room is beautifully thought out, from the lobby to the bathrooms - every one contemporary in style and layout. From the cushiony carpet beneath your feet to the crisp sheets on the large, soft beds, there's not much more Le Tremplin could do to make you feel more at home.
And when it's time to head to the slopes - once you've managed to persuade yourself to get out of your comfy bed - you'll find you don't have far to go. You can ski practically to and from the front door - so no traipsing around with all that heavy equipment. And even if you're a newbie or have little ones with you, don't worry, the ski school and nursery slopes are only a 1-minute walk away.
Once the lifts come to a halt and the sun begins to set over the mountain peaks, head back to the hotel for some sophisticated evening entertainment. The steaming outdoor pool is perfect for catching the last of the evening's red skies and the beautiful and modern wellness area, complete with sauna, steam room and whirlpool, is great for winding down for the evening and excellent for soothing those muscles. If you're a social butterfly, you may prefer to occupy the wine bar in the lobby and reminisce about your fabulous day over a glass of Merlot or two.
When it comes to mealtimes, you'll be eating at the Le 80 restaurant, which is located in the Hotel Chaudanne right opposite Le Tremplin. The breakfasts are copious and scrumptious and the dinners are equally as delicious. The Hotel Chaudanne also houses various other à la carte restaurants, including a Michelin starred one, if one night you decide you want to treat yourself. And as the Hotel Le Tremplin is in an ideal location in Méribel, a vast array of shops, bars and restaurants are on your doorstep, meaning you can explore this lovely resort at ease.

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
