The Bakker family welcome you to the Hotel Kaprun. It's perfect for anyone looking for a simple break - but with all you need for a great skiing experience. It's a small and traditional hotel with only 24 rooms, meaning you'll get very personal service and a friendly welcome.
At breakfast time you'll have a selection foods to choose from, from cold meats to jams - a traditional continental breakfast. After that, it's only a couple of minutes' walk to the nursery slopes - beyond this you'll have easy access to the wider ski area including the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and nearby Zell am See by jumping on the free ski bus which stops almost outside the hotel.
The Hotel Kaprun is not a spa hotel, but there is a new sauna for a bit of relaxation time. There's also plenty of storage space for skis and boots downstairs - the boot heater will give you warm dry tootsies each morning. You can also stay in touch with home with free WiFi in the cosy lounge and bar - where you can grab a drink before heading out for dinner.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.

Many Austrian hotels do not serve free tap water with meals.
