Location - where is Garni Hotel Goldenes Kreuz

The Garni Hotel Goldenes Kreuz is just a 3-minute walk from the Nassereinbahn gondola for access to the Gampen ski area. This is one of the main lifts out of resort onto the ski area. The hotel is located at the end of the main high street and a 5-minute walk into the centre. Here, you’ll find a variety bars, restaurants and shops. In the evening, try Murrmel Bar next to Spar for live music, or head a little further up the high street to Bobo’s Mexican or Bodega for a tasty Spanish tapas meal.

You are sure to have a warm and cosy stay at the Garni Hotel Goldenes Kreuz. Having been in the family for two generations, the welcoming Ennemoser family and their team will ensure you have a great time. Built in 1825, the hotel is in a great position near to the Nasserein gondola, close to town, and a great base for a holiday in St Anton.

Rooms at the Goldenes Kreuz are modern and bright with ample of space for a comfortable stay in any room. All rooms are provided with internet links, hairdryers and flatscreen TVs, and upgrade to a superior twin for a balcony.

After a day out on the mountain, spend some time in the hotel’s soothing wellness area. Open from mid-afternoon until the evening, you’ll be able to enjoy the two saunas and relax your muscles for the next day, or simply unwind in the relaxation area.

Begin the day with a hot and cold buffet breakfast, served in the stylish and contemporary breakfast room. Freshly baked bread from the village, local mountain cheeses and homemade jams are sure to get you ready for the day. The bed and breakfast arrangement here gives you the flexibility to sample the huge choice of restaurants in the village.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh).
