Right in the centre of Maria Alm, the Gasthof Niederreiter has an excellent location for keen skiers, just opposite the gondola station. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming - speak to Herr Niederreiter and he'll give you some good tips for ski routes to try out.
The rooms are spacious and comfy with loads of storage space. They're decorated with warm colours and, even with the hotel's central location, are quiet at night. There's also free WiFi on hand for keeping in touch with home.
The wellness facilities are a welcome sight at the end of a long ski day with a sauna, steam bath and whirlpool to relax in. Food gets a big thumbs up too - hearty breakfasts with lots to choose from and in the evenings there's a choice of local and international cuisine that will keep you well-fuelled for the mountains.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
Please note: Box spring beds are separable.
