Right in the centre of Morzine, Hotel Garance makes it easy to dip in and out of resort life. Bars and cafés are just a short stroll away, and it's only six minutes on foot to the Pleney gondola when you're ready to hit the slopes. When you're back for the day, there are plenty of ways to recharge, whether that's a few laps in the heated indoor pool, a soak in the outdoor hot tub or a session in the sauna. And if you fancy a bit of after-dinner entertainment, the karaoke room is a fun extra you don't see every day.

The look here is classic alpine, but with a fresh, modern twist. Light pine woodwork, soft neutral shades and clean lines give the whole place a calm, easy-going feel. Rooms are comfy and contemporary, with the same understated style running throughout.

Food is a big part of the experience too. Mornings start with a buffet breakfast, with a mix of hot and cold options to set you up for the day ahead. Then in the evenings, head to the hotel’s restaurant for three-course dinners featuring French brasserie favourites and local specialities.
