The Hotel Diva is popular for its great location in Tignes Val Claret and for its wide range of facilities. The hotel is pretty close to ski-in, ski-out, with the nearest lift less than 3 minutes' walk away – and it's surrounded by all kinds of shops and bars.
Don't let the unassuming streetside shop-front entrance fool you – inside there's a spacious reception and lounge with friendly staff, a large dining room and bar, and an Irish pub.
Breakfast is a buffet of cold meats and cheeses alongside cereal, fruit, yoghurt and a selection of cooked options to get you ready for a day on the mountain. Evening meals are a treat too, with traditional starter and dessert buffets, a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian main courses and unlimited free wine throughout.
There are a range of room types across five floors also, all modern in style and most with a balcony and a view of the slopes.
You’ll also have complimentary access to the excellent hotel-run kids’ club, supervised by qualified, English-speaking staff. It runs for six days and one evening per week, for kids aged 3-5 years all season, and during French school holidays for kids aged 6-17 years. There's a different theme each week, so your kids could be rehearsing for a sci-fi fantasy show, or painting pictures of pretty plants. •Espace Killy ski area •Fantastic après ski •High altitude skiing
Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.
