A short walk from the centre Les Deux Alpes is the Hotel Panorama, a popular pick for families. Getting to the nearest lift is easy-peasy – just walk a couple of minutes and you’re there. Then at the end of the day, you can ski to within metres of the hotel.

You’ll be staying full board, so everything’s covered food-wise. There’s a hot and cold buffet spread to kick off the day, and you can pick up a packed lunch to eat on the mountain – or pop back to the hotel for proper sit-down meal instead if you fancy. Then to round off the day, you can find your faves from a buffet-style evening meal.

When it comes to off-slope relaxation, the hotel has you covered with it’s free wellness centre. Slip on your swimming costume for a spell in the sauna and steam room or a soak in a hot tub.
