"Good hotel but further from the lifts than you might expect"

The hotel was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was nice, it was standard Italian food. There were 2 choices and then a veggie option each evening. The room was fine, adequate for our needs. The description of the hotel’s location is slightly misleading, it claims to be very close to the lifts, but in reality we found that it probably takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk in ski boots. Also the walk up to the main lift is treacherous! I wouldn’t even attempt it in ski boots, it’s up a very steep hill. Another point worth noting is that the ski room in the hotel isn’t very well sign posted and you actually have to go out and through the garage to get to it – this wasn’t a problem though.
