Overview - hotel description - Hotel Bauer (Saalbach) description

Hotel Bauer is in a great location. It's right in the centre of Saalbach and you only have to walk five minutes to get to the ski lifts and slopes. You can't miss the place as it's the one with turrets and towers on the high street!

The hotel is classically Austrian. Inside it's traditionally styled with plenty of natural wood and a slight 'olde-worlde' feel. The bar area is a really relaxing place to relive your exploits from the day.

Head to the wellness area if your legs are tired (they probably will be with so much to explore). It's like an enchanted cave with a pool, sauna, steam room, rocks and plants. It's free for guests to use and definitely takes you to another place!

The dining rooms are cosy and rustic and the hotel team has really focused on the quality of the food. There's an à la carte menu and you can select courses. They've had the same chef for 12 years and he's built up a good reputation.

There’s an array of scenic circuits and long pine-lined runs around the Ski Circus which are excellent for those looking to develop their abilities, making this an absolute dream for intermediates. Be sure to make your way to the legendary Hinterhag Alm for a wild party with live music in this lively rustic venue. Bauer’s Skialm will have you dancing in your ski boots into the early hour...
