If you're a fan of small hotels with character then you should love the Hotel Batzenhäusl. The Batzenhausl is a simple, yet comfortable, guesthouse-style hotel owned and run by the Kaltschmid family. The hotel is warm and inviting - each room uniquely decorated with local timbers and warm colours. The staff are friendly and efficient while the traditional Tirolean cuisine at the inn has a reputation as some of the best in the region.
For a traditional knees-up head to the bar, with nightly music, dancing and a great atmosphere. For taking things a bit easier you can also use the indoor pool and spa area with outdoor whirlpool at the Hotel Kaltschmid (around a five minute walk away) free of charge.
The Batzenhäusl has a great central location on the edge of the pedestrian district, less than 10 minutes by foot to the Gschwandtkopf lift. Cross-country skiers start even closer and there is a ski bus stop nearby for exploring further into the Olympiaregion.
