Overview - hotel description - Hotel Alpine Palace description

The Hotel Alpine Palace is the leading hotel in Hinterglemm for a good reason. It's in an amazing position right by the Reiterkogel gondola and it has the service, facilities and food fit for a palace. The public spaces are large, light and beautifully furnished with huge sofas, massive rounds of wood for tables and warm colours.

The hotel is actually made up of two interconnecting wings: the five-star Alpine Palace and the three-star Haus Wolf. However, guests share facilities no matter which wing they stay in.

You can't miss taking advantage of the incredible spa here. With indoor and outdoor pools and multiple saunas and hot tubs as well as an extensive range of massage a beauty treatments, you can't help but relax. After a day on the mountain, kick back by an open fire in one of the lounge areas, or savour a gorgeous wine from the extensive wine cellar. For those who love to court Lady Luck, you can't miss the Card Casino.

Families - any extra notes for parents with children

For children who are looking for a break from Mum and Dad, there's a free hotel-run children's club for 3 to 12 year olds. It runs from Sunday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 1pm until 8pm, so there's plenty of downtime for everyone.

The club runs a full programme of activities throughout the week to keep the liveliest kids happy and entertained. The hotel also offers children's menus and early dinner times for smaller ones.

We update Hotel Alpine Palace's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. In the heart of the Glemmtal valleys, this charming alpine-style village is composed of traditional Austrian architecture. Twinned with the adjoining village of Saalbach and the slightly more distant Leogang, Hinterglemm make up one part of the endless ‘Ski Circus’ area. In comparison to compact Saalbach, it’s smaller, more sophisticated and more widely dispersed, which makes it the more sombre of the two villages. Nonetheless, those looking for some noise won’t struggle to find it - the après on the high s...
Anyone looking to ski for the first time can find a range of ski schools available across the three learner slopes in different corners of the village. Once ready to head up the lifts, there’s a selection of friendly little blues back down to the centre, good for building confidence. Pull up a deckchair and sunbathe with a quiet drink at the Zwoelfer Treff, one of the many huts to enjoy when up the mountain.
