Its high-altitude makes for stunning scenery and excellent, snow-sure skiing for most of the season. The picturesque village is car-free, has great facilities and a fun après scene meaning it’s a hit with everyone from party animals to families.

For lunch head to Boccolino (next to the nursery slopes) which dishes up pizza, pasta and local specialities.
