This accommodation only holiday to Holiday 2 in Zell Am See, Austria departs Saturday 10th December 2016, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

With its gorgeous lakeside location and buildings harking back to the Middle Ages, Zell am See is a resort that flawlessly combines traditional charm with modern efficiency. The picturesque appeal doesn’t end with the panoramas from the peak - there’s little skiing above the treeline on the Schmitten, so visitors are treated ...

The Pinzgauer Hut is a hidden gem on the mountain, serving delicious local fare and offers a complimentary snowmobile service to return you back to town. At the top of the Schmittenhohe, you can dance the afternoon away at the outside bar, before making your way down to the village to carry on the party. The Cabri...
