· 7 minutes' walk to the village centre · 2 minutes' walk to the ski bus stop · 3 minutes' walk to the Hotel Harfenwirt
Just down the road from one of Niederau's most popular hotels, Hotel Harfenwirt, the Snow Homes are a selection of private guesthouses. Only 2 minutes' walk to the main hotel and the ski lifts, the Snow Homes are in the perfect location to be able to make the most of the slopes and activities in the village centre.
The Snow Homes vary in style and facilities and are allocated on arrival. The rooms in the Snow Homes are quite basic, but with over 500 years of history, the decor and atmosphere is very much in keeping with their traditional Tyrolean style.
You can use the Hotel's Harfenwirt's facilities free of charge, so after returning from a snow-packed day, you could take a dip in the hotel's indoor pool or let off some steam in the sauna and steam room.
Breakfast and dinner are also taken in the hotel, where you'll be treated to hearty breakfast buffet and a delicious evening meal of classic Austrian dishes, complete with salad buffet. Once dinner's over you may want to spend a little while in the hotel bars, and on some nights you might have the honour of being serenaded by the 'harfenwirt', or in English, the 'harp playing landlord'.
· free use of all the facilities at the Hotel Harfenwirt, including the indoor pool and spa area
Twin room - sleeps 2: Austrian twin beds, private bath or shower and WC.
Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common Central Europe. They're simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head-to-head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
· buffet breakfast · 4-course evening meal with a choice of three main courses, including a vegetarian option, and daily salad buffet · Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve gala dinners included
Please note: All meals are taken in the Hotel Harfenwirt. The hotel can cater for gluten-free diets. For any dietary requirements, please advise at the time of booking.
Many Austrian hotels do not serve free tap water with meals.
