Overview - hotel description - Golf Hotel (TH Madonna di Campiglio) description

Get a sense of luxury as you enter the Golf Hotel. Large open rooms with high ceilings and ornate decoration have the feeling of an Austrian manor.

Located above the resort centre on the hillside you’re close to the Groste 1 and Fortini Express lifts, so getting onto the mountain each day is quick and easy. Or if you want to head down to the lifts in the resort centre, or take some time off to explore the village, make use of the hotel’s free shuttle service running regular trips each way.

The communal areas of the hotel are generally large rooms with plush touches – great spaces for relaxing and unwinding, especially by the large open fireplace. The elaborate wooden bar creates a sense of sophistication and is ideal for relaxing in the evening. If you really want to unwind, pay a little extra to make use of the hotel’s spa and wellness facilities – a modern, indoor pool overlooks the surrounding Brenta mountains from large windows. There’s also an extra charge for the sauna, steam room and hot tub. And if you’re out to treat yourself, indulge and book a massage or beauty treatment.

The superior twin rooms are spacious and comfortable with lots of light pouring in. While the rooms themselves are simply decorated, there’s ample storage and you’ll be blown away by the spectacular views across the impressive Brenta Dolomites. All rooms are kitted out with free WiFi, flatscreen TVs with UK channels, a minibar and air conditioning also.

Meals are taken in the characterful main restaurant, which makes the most of those surrounding mountain landscapes. Get yourself ready for the day ahead with a hot buffet breakfast. And enjoy the 4-course evening meals with a mix of buffet and waiter service in an intimate setting.

You’ll find Madonna di Campiglio surrounded by a wooded valley, between the cliffs of the Brenta Dolomites (now a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Adamello - Presanella glaciers. This drop-dead gorgeous scenery’s just one reason to ski here; it’s a classic in the skiing world, with traditional buildings and a lively atmosphere... And while others enjoy the buzz of the town, the joint ski area of Folgarida, Marilleve and Madonna di Campiglio is out there to explore. Launched as a tourist centre towards the...
Beginners in ski school are usually taken by bus to the nursery slopes in nearby Campo Carlo Magna. Once ready to progress, there are two areas for relatively easy skiing at the top of the Pradalago and Groste sectors (served by the gondola from the village) where you'll find plenty of wide cruising trails - we like the 3 mile Graffer run in the Groste area which ends up in the village. Intermediates can enjoy some lovely long cruisey trails through forests. The new red piste Nambino (in the 5 Laghi area) is ...

Zangola is the biggest night club, famous for its dancing and late night partying. It's situated just outside the town but in past seasons there's been a bus which runs all night. Des Alps is the second (slightly pricier) nightclub in the village centre. Two ...
