· located in the centre of resort · ski-in, ski-out · in-house ski school · 2 minutes' walk to the nursery slopes
The practical, yet charming, Glanzer Homes Hochsölden, is a ski-in, ski-out guesthouse in the centre of Hochsölden.
The bedrooms are spacious and are simple, but modern, in design. The furnishings make every room bright and welcoming and the comfy beds make for an excellent night's sleep - perfect for repairing those aching muscles from the day before. They're not 5* luxury, but they're a great value choice for those dying to get out onto the mountain each morning.
And even when you're not on the snow, you don't have to make your way over to Sölden for entertainment, because the guesthouse has its own wellness area, ideal for unwinding. You can detox in the sauna, or cleanse your lungs and skin in the steam room before making your way to the sensory shower to experience different moods and sensations. Then, to top it all off, you can chill out on one of the water beds or admire the mountain views from the relaxation area. Quite tempting, I think you'd agree?
A stay at the Glanzer Homes also includes free WiFi to keep in touch with your friends and family at home, and, if your tiny phone screen doesn't do the things you need it to, you can make use of the communal iPad in the breakfast room. On the subject of breakfast, you'll also have access to an array of delicious foods each morning to power up for your day ahead.
The heart and soul of the guesthouse though is its staff. They'll be on hand to make sure you have whatever you need to make your stay at the Glanzer Homes as stress-free and as pleasurable as possible.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
· hot and cold buffet breakfast · optional upgrade to half board with evening meals taken at the Hotel Alpenfriede
Many Austrian hotels do not serve free tap water with meals.

A tiny mountain village, right on the slopeside above Sölden. Hoch is quieter and lesser known than its big brother down the valley, but it shares the same ski area – glaciers and all – and you can ski right out onto it.
