The Accom was fine. The food was serve yourself, as you would expect not the most fresh or interesting but good enough to eat. General view was uninspiring – New Year eve party was well done Shuttle bus to ski lift pretty useless. Wasn’t running frequently enough. + more

Euroski Mountain Resort, El Tarter Summary

This one’s got the best of both worlds – a quiet spot with snowy hills in the background, plus a free ski shuttle that stops right outside and gets you to the gondola in three minutes flat.

Step inside and you’ll find the bar, lounge and reception area all have a fresh, new look. We’re talking a deep brown and beige colour palate, contemporary furniture and soft mood lighting. The lounge has more than its fair share of big-windowed chill-out spaces, with views of the mountains and the Valira d’Orient River doing its thing below. Meanwhile, upstairs, the rooms are older in style, with pine furniture, cream walls and blue patterned fabrics.

Food-wise, you’re on half board, so expect a buffet breakfast and a three-course evening spread, complete with salad, starter and dessert stations. The spa’s not included, but you’ll get a voucher on arrival for either a free drink at the bar or one spa visit – your call. Inside, there’s a pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, with separate family and adults-only times so you can pick your perfect chill-out slot.
