This package holiday to Edenarc in Les Arcs, France departs Saturday 6th January 2018, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

Les Arcs was established in 1968 and is located in one of the largest ski areas in the Alps. The closest airport is Chambery with a transfer time of around 2 and half hours and there are various transport links from Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble too. Present day Les Arcs consists of 4 purpose built villages. The original resort, Arc 1600, was purpose built for doorstep skiing and is directly linked by a funicular from Bourg St Maurice. Arc 1800 lies to the east as you look up the mountain and is quite the contr...

A number of runs are accessible via free beginner lifts, including a short lift at the bottom of Arc 1800. The ...

If you’re looking for more of a French style après bar, Ambiente has a really cool atmosphere and lots of nice cocktails while Le club 1950 is the place to be if you’re looking to party into the small hours. Arc 1600 is a lit...
