We enjoyed staying here. We only had four people staying there; I think with 12 it would have been tight in the social areas. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

"A good week in Morzine"

We enjoyed staying here. We only had four people staying there; I think with 12 it would have been tight in the social areas. The dining room and lounge area are open plan and with a full chalet everyone would need to literally be sitting right up next to each other! Our chalet hosts were very good indeed and the food was excellent. It’s a very central chalet, right in the middle of town. There was limited internet connection and we didn’t have TV’s in the rooms – otherwise I would give it a 5 out of 5!

All in all, my partner and I had an excellent holiday experience. The chalet hostesses were extremely friendly and professional. Our only suggestions would be with the chalet (Dakota Lodge) itself. Firstly, the dining room chairs make a lot of noise when they are moved around and this can be heard clearly in the rooms downstairs. It would help to attach felt or cork pads under the feet of all the chairs. Secondly, the ventilation system in the chalet kitchen is inter-connected with the vents in the each of the bedrooms' bathrooms. Cooking smells therefore pervade the entire chalet including the bedrooms. Perhaps the ventilation system is blocked or needs to be improved? Otherwise, well done

Negatives. Toilet system inoperative, bedside light bulbs blown, light inoperable in WC next to boot room Chalet staff working conditions poor. Oven door closure not working properly, dishwasher only had a single 1 and a half hour cycle programme, staff had to use an additional fridge 2 floors below as kitchen fridge had insufficient storage Positives. Helpful staff especially as the airline had lost our bags, food good, clean chalet Would return!!!

Everyone agreed it was a great holiday, our vegetarians were particularly impressed with the food; the spa service was also used by some of the group, who found it to be very good especially as it came to the chalet. The atmosphere in the chalet added to the enjoyment of the holiday due to the friendly and efficient, but not intrusive, chalet hosts.

Excellent. The chalet is located very near to the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts which makes getting up into the mountains super-quick and very easy. Our chalet hosts, Luke & Beth, were great, providing us with great food, plentiful wine and lots of hints and tips on how to get the best out of our stay in Morzine (i.e. where the best bars are ;-) We made some great new friends in the chalet and just had a ball. The rooms were smaller than your website imagery suggested but the beds were very comfy and the bathrooms more than adequate too. The proximity of the lifts to the chalet really made up for any short-comings that the chalet itself may have had. Overall, we thought it was excellent and would happily return. If you can just do something about the fickle Morzinoise snow falls...
