NESTLED IN THE HEART OF THE ALBERG1800 RESORT, IN AN ENVIABLE LOCATION, IS THE BEAUTIFUL CRUX PENTHOUSE

This stunning penthouse apartment is a sensational addition to the growing stable of luxury chalets within the exclusive resort of St. Christoph.
Crux Penthouse is a truly beautiful home which delights in the owner’s attention to detail. The interior embraces contemporary features and ensures maximum luxury for all guests. The authentic woods and timbers create the perfect alpine-inspired ambiance throughout.
For ski enthusiasts, the location is idyllic as the ski run home takes you to just across the road from the apartment and the St. Christophbahn lift is just 150m from Crux Penthouse. You can reach the top of Valluga, which is the highest point of the Arlberg ski region, faster from St. Christoph than any of the other resorts in the Alberg.
You enter the property into the entrance hallway where a short walkway leads you to the large open plan living area. The high ceilings afford spectacular panoramic views across the Verwall valley and the use of space makes you feel like you are in a free-standing chalet. This beautiful room offers plenty of space to socialise and entertain.
Two large comfy sofas surround a large wood burning fireplace which is the focal point of the room. Large French windows open out on to the wonderful terrace where stylish seating is perfectly positioned to take in the incredible views and provides an ideal spot for guests to enjoy a glass of champagne in the warmer spring months.
By day, light floods into the room, and in the evening, the sensitive lighting and incredible mountain backdrop transforms the apartment into a wonderful, sophisticated setting.

Beyond this room is a wonderful TV snug ideal for catching up on the latest movie after dinner.
The well-equipped kitchen and open plan dining table is set back from the main seating area. The solid wood dining table seats up to 12 guests and sits beneath an impressive chandelier creating the perfect space to entertain.
There are five beautiful bedrooms in the penthouse. There are four double bedrooms, two of which can be made into twin bedrooms (with a small gap between the beds). All the bedrooms have either en-suite bathrooms or en-suite shower rooms. There is a wonderful bunk bedroom which can sleep up to four children, also with an en-suite bathroom.
For guests wanting ultimate relaxation, there is a wonderful sauna and bucket shower in the apartment.
Guests at the penthouse are offered free use of all facilities at the Alberg Hospiz Hotel, which include a full spa and swimming pool as well as childcare (an additional charge). This stunning hotel which is less than a two-minute stroll away whether above ground or via an underground walkway, is also home to five distinct and unique restaurants, each with a different theme, giving self-catered guests a considerable choice for dining options over the course of a week's stay.
The property is sold on a catered or self-catered basis.
The property normally comes with a dedicated driver service from 8.30am - 1am daily when sold on a fully catered basis. The service operates between St. Christoph and St. Anton. The driver service does not extend to Lech.

Off-piste bowls and chutes galore Quaint Austrian Charm 250km ski area

The fact that it’s part of the huge Arlberg Ski area, and sits between Zurs and St. Anton on the legendary Arlberg pass is a huge draw, offering the opportunity to ski some world-class pistes from a quaint alpine base.

Part of the Arlberg ski area, St Christoph sits on the Arlberg pass – down the road from Zurs and on the other side of the Galzig mountain from the epic St. Anton and its world-renowned après-ski. With a convenient position between the two, this is a brilliant place if you want to explore the Arlberg area at both ends. It made its name when, in the 14th century, Heinrich Findelkind raised money for a hospice to shelter travellers from harsh conditions. With Innsbruck airport only 100km away, you won’t ne...
Getting lessons is the best way to learn and develop your confidence here. Several independent instructors offer fantastic tuition and Ski Schule Arlberg have offices in St. Christoph - their children’s area has a playground, magic carpets and a drag lift where little ones can get to know their skis. The nursery pistes in nearby Rendl are gentle and tend to be quite quiet. There are nice short blues in the village labelled 8A and served by the Maiensee lift. Once you’ve mastered these, Blue 8 leads all the w...
Considering its size it’s not surprising that St. Christoph isn’t a party capital - with a few high end bars, the village has a very intimate vibe. However, St. Anton’s legendary après ski is nearby if you want to turn things up a little. Most of any après-ski in St. Christoph revolves around the Arlberg Hospiz Hotel. It has a number of restaurants including the Sun Terrace, Tyrolean Restaurant and the Hospiz Alm Chalet. This really is fine dining – the Hospiz Alm has been awarded two toques – a presti...
