Location - where is Constellations Apartments, Belle Plagne

The Constellations Apartments are situated in Belle Plagne, one of the villages that make up La Plagne. You can access the village via the lift in the Pegase building. The nearest ski lift is the Roche de Mio gondola, which is a 4-minute walk or a 1-minute ski from the apartment. From here, you can access the range of spectacular glacier runs or, in the evenings, you can take the gondola down to Plagne Bellecôte to go to a bar or two, or to treat yourself to some fondue. This gondola is open until midnight, so you don’t have to worry about rushing back early. However, if you don’t want to risk it, then you’ll find bars, restaurants and bowling in Belle Plagne, too.

Overview - apartment description - Constellations Apartments, Belle Plagne description

The charming and modern Constellations Apartments are a great option for doorstep skiing in the beautiful village of Belle Plagne. You can ski directly onto the piste from the residences, and there’s easy access to all the eateries and entertainment that the village has to offer.

Each apartment is in a traditional Savoyard style, decked out with wood-cladded feature walls and simple, warm textures. They’re based inside huge chalet-style buildings with slate rooves that perfectly blend into the landscape. What’s more, all apartments have south-west or south-east facing balconies – so lots of sun all day long.

Just to take the strain off the wallet, every apartment is also fitted with a kitchenette, so you can whip up a meal for family or friends during your stay. There’s a supermarket only 2 minutes away so you don’t have to go far for all the ingredients. Then, settle down with a hot chocolate and spend the evening relaxing in your apartment. Cleaning is also included (other than the kitchen), so you don’t have to worry about leaving the apartment spotless the day you leave.

If you fancy exploring the other areas that make up La Plagne, then there’s a free shuttle bus to Plagne Centre and the other villages every 15 minutes. Here you can pop in to a bar for an evening drink, or treat yourself to a meal in a local restaurant. However, if you’d rather make your holiday as stress-free as possible, then opt for our half-board upgrade, which includes breakfast and a specially designed 3-course set menu each evening.

In the Savoie region of the French Alps, La Plagne was established in the early sixties and now consists of 11 villages: 7 purpose built and 4 traditional. The aptly named Plagne Centre at the heart of the resort is the main hub of shops, restaurants and après ski. Just underneath lies Plagne 1800, a cluster of chalets spread across a steep hillside. Higher up are Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne-Soleil and Plagne-Villages, all accessible via chairlifts from Plagne Centre. Plagne Bellecote rests over a low ridge to th...
There are plenty of nursery slopes with access to free beginner lifts for those new to skiing. This is complimented by a wide choice of different ski schools ready to cater to your particular needs. The slopes around the Belle Plagne area are particularly suitable for beginners, with the blue run linking Les Bauches to Montchavin, providing a manageable step up in difficulty from the nursery slopes. For those who class themselves as intermediate standard skiers this really is paradise. 77% of the runs are gra...
It might not rival Val d'sere or Verbier for their wild party scenes, but this is an exceptional resort for unique après ski opportunities. Spend the night in the Black Sheep Igloos, facing Mont Blanc, complete with a fondue meal and a morning wakeup call with breakfast. If this isn’t your idea of fun then ice climbing in Champagny and husky sledding are also on offer. One experience not to be missed is the bobsleigh track, used for Olympic training. There are a variety of ways you can choose to go down it, bu...
